Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agriculture University (HAU) has chosen 16 startups doing wonderful work within the agri-business sector within the state that may get a collective grant of Rs 1.98 crore.
The grant has been sanctioned by the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare of the Central Government beneath the (*16*) Krishi Vikas Yojana –Remunerative Approaches for Agriculture and Allied Sector Rejuvenation (RKVY-RAFTAAR). The Vice-Chancellor of the HAU, Prof BR Kamboj stated these startups have been chosen by the agri-business incubation centre (ABIC) positioned within the HAU. The VC, who’s the chairperson of the ABIC, stated they’d signed an settlement with these chosen startups.
Kamboj stated with the inducement given when it comes to the grant, these startups would offer employment to the youth of their areas and assist in bettering the situation of farmers by selling agri-business.
