SAN DIEGO — 55 animals had been rescued from a Golden Hill home Wednesday, San Diego Humane Society introduced.
The animals had been deserted on the home after their proprietor was evicted, forsaking the animals, SDHS stated.
Among the animals rescued by the humane society had been:
- 16 grownup quails
- 30 quail chicks
- 8 kittens
- 1 grownup cat
The animals had been stated to have been left in deplorable dwelling situations and had been left with out meals or water, in accordance with SDHS. The animals are secure and receiving care at a San Diego Humane Society facility.
The organizations Humane Law Enforcement group is investigating the incident. No data is at present out there on the previous proprietor of the animals.
