JUNCTION CITY, Kan. (KSNT) – The story of a Junction City canine is paving the way to help other animals affected by abuse and neglect.
Last 12 months, we launched you to Max – a Junction City canine whose earlier homeowners had been abusive. Now, his story helps other animals in the group.
“Max’s Fund” is the newest undertaking from the Junction City Animal Shelter.
The undertaking goals to help victims similar to Max who suffered from abuse and animal cruelty.
The fund can even help pet homeowners in the group who’re struggling to afford primary vet care.
“A lot of neglect comes from not being able to afford these necessities for their pets,” stated Junction City Animal Shelter Director Vanessa Gray. “So we’re hoping that hinders a lot of neglect and cruelty that we see here in Junction City and in the Gary County area.”
If you desire to to donate to Max’s Fund, the shelter accepts money, card by way of cellphone and test by way of mail.
