AECT Faculty to Research Barriers for Women in Leadership Positions in Agriculture Industry

Kelly Chaney, president of the Women’s Giving Circle, presents a test to Casandra Cox (center) and Hanna Estes (proper), each AECT instructors, accepting funding from the Women’s Giving Circle to fund their mission titled “Navigating Leadership Paths: The Stories of Diverse and Successful Leaders.”

Three school members throughout the Agricultural Education, Communications and Technology Department on the U of A obtained a grant from the Women’s Giving Circle (WGC) to start work on a mission to assess the experiences and obstacles of feminine leaders inside agriculture.

Hanna Estes and Casandra Cox, each instructors throughout the division, in addition to Jill Rucker, affiliate professor in AECT, are collaborating on the mission, which is titled “Navigating Leadership Paths: The Stories of Diverse and Successful Leaders.”
