Then, in March 2020, Araujo was at a gathering with different native child-care middle house owners when she heard a couple of program that might give her entry to federal Early Head Start funds. The program promised to assist her ramp up the high quality of her middle, at little to no value. She would obtain the federal cash by a state grantee, the Colorado-based nonprofit Early Learning Ventures, which would offer further funding for a few of the lower-income children enrolled in her program, growing her inadequate wage. And the nonprofit would assist with different high quality enchancment efforts, like offering funds to allow Araujo to purchase a curriculum and provides, develop her classroom and even additional her education.
