SAN ANTONIO — Animal Care Services responded to a report of cat hoarding at a house on the west side late Tuesday morning, and located virtually 60 animals residing in poor circumstances.
Agents from the group went out to the 2600 block of West Salinas, close to the intersection with West Martin Street, round 11:30 a.m.
A spokesperson stated the report stated there have been dozens of cats situated at the residence.
Eric Burns, assistant metropolis legal professional, stated authorities discovered 27 caged cats in a shed and one other 30 inside the home, and that residing circumstances have been fairly dangerous. He stated Animal Care is eradicating the animals, and the metropolis will work with the property proprietor, and stated there have been traits of a hoarding scenario.
