(BAY CITY) – Puppies and patrons shared some love in Mid-Michigan over the weekend.
The ‘Drink Beer, Save Puppies’ fundraiser was held at Tri City Brewing in Bay City.
A portion of each beer offered went to Mitten Mutts Dog Rescue. The non-profit stated its mission is to “present love, care, coaching, and houses to canine in danger in excessive kill and over-crowded shelters.”
Organizers stated the neighborhood fundraiser additionally helped the canine’s personalities shine once they weren’t in a cage.
“Events like this are superior as a result of folks can study in regards to the rescue, find out about our mission but in addition meet the canine at a time that’s extra handy for them,” stated Stacey Abbs of Mitten Mutts Dog Rescue.
“So we do not do direct adoptions at occasions like this. These guys nonetheless want to be spayed and neutered. But they’ll meet them, see what they’re like.”
This is the third time Tri City Brewing has hosted the non-profit.
So far, each canine who had appeared on the bar has been adopted.
