Board of Education Seeks Applicants to Fill Positions on Ethics Panel

The Montgomery County Board of Education is looking for to fill one emptiness on its five-member Ethics Panel. The vacancies are for a three-year time period starting on July 1, 2022. Members serve with out compensation.

As famous in Board Policy, BBB, Ethics, among the many Panel’s obligations are: (1) approving monetary disclosure types; (2) deciphering the Board of Education’s Ethics Policy and issuing advisory opinions regarding its software; and (3) conducting hearings on complaints filed concerning an alleged violation.

Panel members will not be incumbent members of the Board of Education, college officers, staff or individuals employed by a enterprise entity topic to the authority of the Board of Education, or spouses of such people. The Panel meets every year to evaluation monetary disclosure types and as wanted to evaluation complaints and requests for advisory opinions.
