BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. – Animals coming into their ‘golden years’ on the Brevard Zoo could have a snug place to retire.
The zoo says it’s creating new “retirement homes” particularly for its older animals.
The animal expertise curator says when animals attain 80-percent of their life expectancy, they will be moved to modified constructions. Some of the modifications is perhaps including steps or a artistic area.
