Here are three upcoming hikes provided by the Eldorado National Forest Interpretive Association (ENFIA) at Carson Pass. All occasions are free however areas are restricted.
Tuesday, July 12 at 10 a.m. – Meet on the Carson Pass Information Station on Hwy 88. Old Man and the Mountain Naturalist Hike. Retired USFS Ranger and printed creator Frank Tortorich leads this hike by asking “Do you see what you are looking at?” and urges folks to see glaciation and extra within the forest they assume they know. A meander over a few miles, pausing to understand the various hidden treasures of the forest. All contributors will go away with data of the forest! This occasion is 1-2 hours to Frog Lake.
