Elizabethtown Community and Technical College this month will acknowledge eight alumni and two retired employees for his or her exemplary work in and outdoors of the neighborhood by the annual Profiles of Excellence celebration.
Now in its sixteenth 12 months, the Distinguished Alumni program has acknowledged tutorial, skilled and humanitarian endeavors of 130 former college students, a information launch stated.
Those acknowledged this 12 months embody Debra Childress, Diane Medley, Jon Kimberlain, Kenny Rambo, Kimberly Scarborough, Leroy Keeling, Makote Abe and Timothy Wells.
Names and images of this 12 months’s honorees will be part of others within the Hall of Distinguished Alumni, on show within the atrium of the Regional Postsecondary Center on ECTC’s predominant campus.
Additionally, Dr. Camille Hill, a former professor, arts and humanities chairwoman and chief of the ECTC Choirsters, and Linda Howard, a former professor, common training SLO coordinator and division chairwoman, will obtain the Lifetime Achievement Award for his or her service to the faculty.
This 12 months, honorees shall be acknowledged by a collection of movies posted on ECTC’s social media pages, the discharge stated. The first video, which can function an introduction to the collection, is ready to premiere April 18. Additional movies shall be posted between April 20 and May 6.
