Marty Matlock, professor within the Biological and Agricultural Engineering Department on the U of A and analysis professor within the Arkansas Agricultural Experiment Station, was invited to affix the United States Soybean Export Council on Sept. 16 in St. Louis as they hosted Qin Gang, the Chinese ambassador to the U.S.
The Agricultural Experiment Station is the analysis arm of the U of A System Division of Agriculture.
The contributors joined in a roundtable dialogue centered on sustainable and local weather good agricultural practices. The group included U.S. Department of Agriculture Acting Deputy Under Secretary Jason Hafemeister, in addition to Chinese delegates and leaders from the U.S. and China’s meals and agriculture industries.
