FREDERICK COUNTY, Md. (WDVM) — Substitute trainer Juana Anderson acquired the 2021 Frederick County Public Schools Veteran in Education Service Award.
Anderson is a Thurmont Middle School resident substitute trainer and served in the United States Army for 22 years.
The award is designed to have fun an FCPS worker who has served our nation in the armed forces and supplied extraordinary help to the group.
Thurmont Middle assistant principal Anita Shank expressed:
Anderson applies all of her army and life experiences in her work efficiency with a profound love for college kids and studying. During the previous two years, she has exemplified integrity, perseverance, selflessness and loyalty to our college students at Thurmont Middle each day.
FCPS will honor Anderson at a board assembly in January. She will likely be supplied an engraved plaque and present sponsored by Woodsboro Bank.
