IDAHO — The deadline to use for as much as $15,000 in arts education grants funding is April 17.
The $1 million state-funded grant goals to develop arts education of every kind into rural public and constitution colleges. Schools can request as much as $15,000 to purchase gear, provides, and curriculum for instructional arts packages.
Grants can assist:
- Fine arts
- Performing arts
- Design programs
The program is a collaborative effort between the Idaho State Board of Education, the Idaho Commission on the Arts, and state lawmakers. Interested districts and constitution colleges should meet the state definition of “rural.”
