State Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) president and Sangrur MP Bhagwant Mann has urged Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi to convene an all-party assembly instantly on the problems of agriculture. He stated an all-party delegation ought to meet the Prime Minister by elevating a united voice in favour of the farmers and press for repeal of the central farm legal guidelines.
Mann stated if the PM withdrew the three legal guidelines on agriculture, his status wouldn’t diminsh as selections could possibly be modified within the public curiosity.
The state AAP chief stated the Centre was harassing Punjab and farmers.
“The cash credit limit (CCL) is rejected before the purchase of crops. The Rural Development Fund to Punjab for gram mandis and link roads has been discontinued. The supply of bags, urea and DAP fertiliser is suspended. Moisture and discoloration conditions are tightened for procurement,” he stated.
