An Indiana man is accused of stealing multiple taxidermy animals, ammunition and different gadgets from a wildlife workplace, authorities stated.

Nikola Kutansky, 35, of Munster, was arrested Monday and charged with two felony counts of housebreaking and two felony counts of theft, The Times of Northwest Indiana reported.

The arrest got here after a three-year investigation into break-ins on the Willow Slough Fish & Wildlife Area workplace, Conservation Officer Alex Neel of the Indiana Department of Natural Resources informed the newspaper.

The workplace was damaged into in June 2018 and October in 2018 and gadgets had been stolen.

Kutansky was arrested with out incident after conservation officers and the Munster Police Department served search and arrest warrants at his dwelling, WBIW reported.

A taxidermy deer mount was recovered as one of many stolen gadgets, Neel informed the Times. DNR property signs and ammunition had been additionally taken, based on the newspaper.
