The metropolis of Lompoc has issued a ban on feeding wild animals on public property.
In a metropolis ordinance, town stated that the ban is required as they’ve had a major floor squirrel downside at Beattie Park.
The downside stems from the general public feeding the squirrels day by day.
The squirrels have made a house beneath the highest parking zone on the park, weakening the structural integrity of the asphalt.
If an individual is caught violating the ban, they are going to be responsible of an infraction.
The ban will go into impact on October 31.
