MITCHELL — A Mitchell elementary college might quickly be welcoming a new industrial dishwasher to its kitchen.
The Mitchell Board of Education will consider approving a bid on Monday night, Mar. 14, for a big industrial dishwasher. According to Joe Graves, superintendent for the Mitchell School District, the new industrial dishwasher could be put in at L.B. Williams Elementary School.
In Graves’ memo, he’s recommending the board to approve a $45,032 bid for the industrial dishwasher. The bid was submitted by Sioux Falls-based IS Restaurant Design Equipment and Supply.
The request for the industrial dishwasher surfaced after Leann Carmody, meals providers director, recognized a necessity for a new dishwasher at L.B. Williams’ kitchen.
IS Restaurant submitted the lone bid for the dishwasher request. According to Graves, the dishwasher could be paid off from the Food Service Fund, which he famous has enough funds to cowl the prices of the new tools.
