Local photographer Peter Blackwood is exhibiting his nature and panorama pictures this month at the Cheshire Union, 4244 state Route 21, with a gap reception slated for two to 4 p.m. Oct. 9.
Blackwood’s love of the outside and a lifetime of studying pictures has mixed to facilitate expression of what he finds not solely fascinating, however hopefully lovely within the pure world.

Like all nature and panorama photographers, the focus of his work is within the Finger Lakes and Adirondacks. Flora and fauna in these environments and the fantastic thing about the landscapes are the topics, and capturing that magnificence to share with others is Blackwood’s objective. He creates every artwork piece at house, beginning with picture modifying, then printing and matting, and resulting in the framing course of.
“Nature and Landscapes: The Photography of Peter Blackwood” will be considered via Oct. 31.
