Penn State Berks Chancellor Named to LVB ‘Power 30 for Higher Education’ List

Penn State Berks Chancellor George Grant, Jr. was just lately named to the Lehigh Valley Business Power 30 for Higher Education, a listing of people who maintain positions that give them the power to form our communities and affect our high quality of life by way of training.

Grant assumed the place of chancellor of Penn State Berks in January 2021, following a nationwide search. When requested about his goals, he acknowledged that certainly one of his fundamental objectives is to develop the faculty’s function in the neighborhood, with an emphasis on reaching out to these in economically deprived areas. He needs Penn State Berks to be seen because the place the place group members can come for assist.

Grant serves on the board of Penn State Health St. Joseph, the Greater Reading Chamber Alliance and the United Way of Berks County and is a member of the Berks Alliance.
