Rockford Library receives grant for adult education

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — A neighborhood library received some assist to offer adults a path to get their highschool diplomas.

Rockford Public Library received $25,000 from the Woodward Charitable Trust. The cash will fund scholarships for the library’s “Career Online High School” program, which permits adults to complete highschool by on-line courses.

Program directors stated that the grant will permit greater than a dozen folks to participate.
