(KNSI) – Police and faculty officers are holding a presentation to assist preserve youngsters protected from sexual exploitation. The presentation – Online Safety and Healthy Relationships – might be on Tuesday, February 22, at 7 p.m. on the Sartell High School Performing Arts Center.
The Sartell Police Department and Sartell-St. Stephen School District invitations dad and mom, guardians, college students, and employees to the presentation with Special Agent Nick Riba from the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA) and Kate LePage from Safe Harbor Minnesota.
Riba is a Special Agent with the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension assigned to the Predatory Crimes Section. He has greater than 20 years of expertise investigating human and intercourse trafficking, web crimes in opposition to youngsters, predatory offenders, and coaching state and native businesses.
LePage is a regional navigator with Safe Harbor who gives referrals to providers and schooling and coaching on sexual exploitation. She’s labored with younger victims of sexual assault and industrial sexual exploitation.
