Sandpoint Middle School’s Design for Change class donated over 800 kilos of pet meals and different provides to Better Together Animal Alliance on Thursday. This student-led fundraising effort was a part of a random act of kindness mission for the category.
“We love seeing young people in our community participating in philanthropy,” Paige McGowan, BTAA improvement director, mentioned. “In just about two weeks these kids managed to gather over 800 pounds of food and supplies – that’s impressive. We’re so grateful for their contribution.”
For pupil Tessa MacDougall, organizing the drive began as a random act of kindness.
