The Farm and River Exploration Camp and Rooted Youth Camp are secular and mirror these values in a normal, non-denominational means. Other camps – Valley Teva Camp, for ages 6-11 in July, and Teen Farm Camp in August – mix experiential out of doors schooling with Jewish inspiration, fellowship, and track.
The Farm and River Exploration Camp will run twice, through the weeks of July 11 and Aug. 15, from 9 a.m. to three p.m. each day. Participants can attend in July to plant and in August to reap — or each to see the development of the seasons on the farm. Mornings are spent within the backyard, with livestock, and enjoying video games within the area. Afternoons are spent within the forest, visiting a Mad River swimming gap, and with actions reminiscent of songs and crafts.
Camp charges vary from $245 to $295 per week; sibling reductions obtainable.
