FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) — The Kentucky Department of Education is wanting for a scholar to function a nonvoting member of the state Board of Education.
The deadline to use is subsequent week, and the company has not acquired any purposes, Meredith Brewer, the division’s director of training coverage, mentioned final week on the Commissioner’s Student Advisory Council assembly.
Brewer requested the council members to encourage fellow college students to use.
The subsequent scholar board member should be a present sophomore residing within the 4th Congressional District.
Applications are due at 5 p.m. EST March 7. The software overview subcommittee, which is made up of Student Advisory Council members, will meet the next week to overview purposes.
The subcommittee will suggest as much as three candidates, and a Board of Education subcommittee will choose a candidate. The full board will contemplate the candidate April 20.
