Syracuse University’s School of Education introduced three new faculty appointments as half of its effort to strengthen its instructional choices, in keeping with an SU News launch on April 6.
Eric Baltrinic and Heather Fye, previously professors from the University of Alabama, will be a part of the School of Education’s division of counseling and human companies as an affiliate professor and a visiting assistant professor, respectively.
Xiaoxia Huang, who was an affiliate professor of educational design at Western Kentucky University, will be a part of SU to show in its division of educational design, growth and analysis.

Baltrinic acquired his doctorate from Kent State University in 2014 and has over 20 years of counseling, analysis and educating expertise. The professor is presently a qualitative evaluator for Veterans Recovery Resources funded by the U.S. Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration. He can also be one of the founding members of the Association for Counselor Education and Supervision’s Teaching Interest Network, in keeping with the discharge.
Fye, who acquired a Ph.D. in counselor training and supervision from Kent State University in 2016, beforehand held faculty appointments at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Winona State University and the University of Alabama.
