TAUNTON — Superintendent John Cabral is happy to announce the Taunton Public Schools was awarded a 2022 Allison Keller Education Technology Grant from The Doug Flutie, Jr. Foundation for Autism.
The district was awarded $5,264 by way of the Allison Keller Education Technology Grant program. The funds shall be used to help the district’s Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) Library pilot program, together with the acquisition of six iPads and protecting circumstances; two of every GoTalk20+ and GoTalk9+ gadgets; and three of every Proloquo2Go, TouchChat and display protectors. The grant may also fund an assistive know-how session.
