Webster Co. Animal Care & Control experiencing overcrowding

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – Webster County Animal Care and Control officers are asking for the group’s assist as they’re experiencing overcrowding at their facility.

In a put up on their Facebook web page, officers say they’re housing 66 animals. They say it’s the most they’ve ever housed at one time.

They say they’re previous full capability and are bringing in additional canines than these which are being rescued.

With a small employees of two full-time staff, they’re asking for the general public’s persistence as they work to maintain the ability operating.

Animal Control officers say you may assist by getting your animals spayed and neutered to assist fight the problem.

They say they’ve been a “no kill” facility since 2016 and that continues to be their mission.
