The Council on Greenways and Trails not too long ago announced the winners of its sixth annual Nature Art Showcase.
Attendees on the Nature Art Showcase and Sale solid ballots for the “People’s Choice” award whereas they seen greater than 80 authentic artwork objects submitted by 49 artists and displayed in the primary foyer of the Barrow-Civic Theatre in Franklin through the Franklin On Ice pageant.
The high vote-getter was an oil on canvas portray entitled “Rufus” by Deac Mong of Franklin. This massive eye-catching portray focuses on the top of a mature black bear.
The runner-up was a scene entitled “Girl in the Garden” which Franklin resident Mary Rose Ragon made utilizing pressed plant materials which she earlier harvested from fields close to her house.
